Introduction (aka about this journal)
Hello and welcome. This is, fairly obviously, my online journal / blog / whathaveyou. Come, put up your metaphorical webtravelling shoes; won't you have a read for a while?

I also, like 11 million other people, play World of Warcraft. My main characters are:

  • Shukeralle, unguilded level 80 night elf druid (server: Aggramar)
  • Donda, level 72 tauren druid, also on Aggramar. Is in the "Hordes of Hell" giuld.
  • ...and an army of alts

Sunday saw the end of a 4 year long quest.

(Well, it actually wasn't 4 years long, it just reads better that way...)

So. The details of the boring 4 year long Leisure Suit Larry-related quest are behind this LJ-cut. )

Have very recently got myself an MP3 player. Part of the reason why was because a coworker got one himself, which had a 512 MB size and cost $99. Now, I've been vaguely interested in getting an MP3 player of some sort for a while, and this sounded like quite a good price. Low enough, even, to get an MP3 player just to try it out and see if it's my type of thing.

So, now quite interested, I hauled over to the shop, and found that the $99 512 MB players had all sold out. Well bugger. However, I found a $149 512 MB player, and after a bit of window shopping decided this was the best I could get. So I did.

It's not as small as some, but still small, light, and much better than lugging a Walkman or Discman around. It is, as the l33t kids say, teh nifty.

The fact that it is now June 2005 is driving home some really aggravating points about just how lazy and slack I am:

- I have email from way back that I still haven't answered. I may have had email troubles, but they have been (mostly) sorted out for almost a month. Why have I not answered anything yet?

- June 2003 was when I tried writing 'Chapters Inna Hour' for Rogue Demon Thiesra, and petered out after only five chapters. I keep on wanting to resurrect this thing and finish it.

- It's been a year since a friend of mine came up to Brisbane. I saw him again in October when I went down to Sydney. There has been precious little contact since then. This is probably all my fault.

---

In further news of just how slack I am, I now have a tremendous number of unwatched anime DVDs. The sheer number of them is extremely daunting and overwhelming, and I wonder how I'll ever get through them all.

The obvious answer is "once at a time", so why I am still having trouble? Argh.
